At NextGen Automotive Service & Repair, Our Customers are Our Family and we back that statement up with clear warranty information and policies for everyone to see.

 

We offer a 12 month or 12,000 mile labor and parts warranty (some restrictions may apply, see invoice will list warranty information) on all labor and parts that are purchased through us. Labor only services or customer supplied parts will carry NO warranty through NextGen Automotive Service & Repair, LLC.

NextGen Automotive Service & Repair Limited Warranty Policy

General Limited Warranty Period and Applicability

The basic warranty period for parts purchased with no labor or installation is 90 days from your date of purchase or any longer warranty period that may be printed on your original sales receipt. During the warranty period, we will replace or refund, at our option, any new part that fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and service after proper installation. Simply return with your original sales receipt to NextGen Automotive Service & Repair. You must be the original purchaser of the part and still own the vehicle on which it was installed. This warranty is not transferrable. Replacement parts are warranted for 90 days from the date of exchange or the remainder of the warranty period on the original part, whichever is longer.

 

Refunds will only be considered if you bring the defective part to NextGen Automotive Service & Repair along with your original sales receipt within 45 days from the original date of purchase. Refunds will be issued in accordance with our Return Policy.

Battery Limited Warranty

 

Battery Free Replacement

The Battery Free Replacement Period begins the day of purchase and expires at the end of the Free Replacement Period that is printed on your original sales receipt. This period does not renew when the battery is replaced during the Free Replacement Period. There is no other warranty outside of the Free Replacement Period that began when the battery was purchased. Installation or use of an automotive battery in any other type of vehicle or equipment voids your warranty.

Brake Pad Warranty

All brake pads come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.  NextGen Automotive Service & Repair will replace your pads for the life of your vehicle if needed under this warranty. Gold Pads carry a 12 month (365 day) or 12,000 mile labor warranty. Platinum Brake Pads carry an 18 month (540 day) or 18,000 mile labor warranty. Warranty not valid if excessive wear is caused by any other malfunctioning part.  All other situations concerning warranty explained under Additional Important Details section of this warranty policy.

Labor Warranty

All services and labor performed is fully covered under the labor warranty of NextGen Automotive Service & Repair.  NextGen Automotive Service & Repair will warranty all services and labor for 12 months or 12,000 miles days upon completion of service or repair. Original receipt of service or repair must accompany the vehicle for labor warranty issues. NextGen Automotive Service & Repair will honor the exact labor hours for the service or repair. Should labor hours exceed the original receipt, the customer is responsible for the additional labor hours.

What is Not Covered

  • Failure due to: accident or collision; misuse, abuse or modification; chemical fallout; salt, hail, or other environmental conditions including natural disasters; marine use; improper installation; installation of an incorrect part; and damages caused by other faulty parts.

  • Parts under manufacturer's recall for a related problem.

  • Parts installed on vehicles used off-road or for racing purposes.

  • Parts installed on a commercial-use vehicle after 90 days (see below).

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Used or salvage parts.

 

Commercial Use Vehicles

Parts installed and labor on commercial-use vehicles are warranted for 90 days from the date of purchase only, regardless of any longer warranty period that may be printed on your sales receipt.

Part-Specific Requirements

Certain parts must meet specific installation requirements. Failure to provide proof that these requirements have been met will void your warranty.

  • A/C Compressors. Flushing is required. Must also install a new receiver dryer/accumulator, orifice tube or expansion valve (as applicable).

  • Clutch/Clutch Kits. The clutch/clutch kit must be installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions, including installation of a new pilot bearing and resurfacing of the flywheel. Clutches contaminated by oil and grease are not eligible for warranty replacement/refund.

  • Crankshafts. The installer must validate that the crankshaft OE number matches and there is no visible damage to the unit prior to installation. Warranty is limited to replacement of the crankshaft and bearings prior to installation. Warranted crankshafts that are returned must include the bearings supplied with the unit.

  • Fuel Pumps. Replacement of pump strainer (for in-tank electric pumps) and inline fuel filter at time of repair is required. Must also drain and clean fuel tanks.

 

Additional Important Information

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER LABOR COSTS OR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PHYSICAL INJURIES OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF USE OF THE VEHICLE, INCONVENIENCE, RENTAL VEHICLE CHARGES, TOWING CHARGES OR ACCOMMODATIONS RESULTING FROM A DEFECT IN OR FAILURE OF THE PART.

 

This limited warranty represents the exclusive remedy for any product defect or failure and the total liability of NextGen Automotive Service & Repair and its subsidiaries and affiliates for any part it warrants. NEXTGEN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE & REPAIR MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, CONDITION OF ANY KIND OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some states do not allow disclaimers of implied warranties. Therefore all implied warranties that may apply to your part are limited to the duration of this written warranty. Some states also do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental, special or consequential damages, so the above information may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Advance does not authorize any person to vary the terms, conditions or exclusions of this warranty. If any provision of the warranty should become invalid or unenforceable because of any laws, the remaining terms and provisions of the warranty shall remain in full force and effect. To the extent allowed under local law, the remedies provided in this Limited Warranty Policy are the customer’s sole and exclusive remedies. NextGen Automotive Service & Repair Parts Return Policy

This Return Policy governs NextGen Automotive Service & Repair acceptance of returns.

Proof of Purchase

With Proof of Purchase

Return or exchange any item with original purchase receipt within 45 days as NEW requires that item must be in original condition and packaging, unopened and uninstalled, including all original materials supplied with the item. Returns that do not meet these criteria will be denied. Items returned for warranty may be exchanged or refunded at our discretion. Credit will be issued in the form of a check.

Without Proof of Purchase

Return or exchange of NEW items (original condition and packaging, unopened and uninstalled, including all original materials supplied with the item) without proof of purchase may be made in exchange for a NextGen Automotive Service & Repair Gift Certificate. No CASH refunds will be issued. These returns will be processed at the lowest selling price of the item in the last 45 days.

Conditions

Some merchandise, including opened gaskets and ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC GOODS are non-refundable. Third party or other outsourced merchandise, including certain Special Order, Commercial Tools and equipment are all subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Clearance and “AS IS” merchandise are non-refundable.

NextGen Automotive Service & Repair reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges at any time, for any reason. NextGen Automotive Service & Repair reserves the right to require a valid photo ID that will be recorded at the time of return. Applicable information from your ID will be retained, subject to applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, in a company-wide database of customer return activity that NextGen Automotive Service & Repair and its affiliates use to authorize returns. We accept the following IDs for returns: Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID, Permanent Resident Card or Border Crossing Card.

 

Non-Returnable Items

The list below provides a high-level list of merchandise that is classified as non-returnable per our Return Policy. Some parts may be denied return because they share the same categorization as their electrical counterparts (i.e. fuel pumps). In these cases, the manager may override the denial and process the return. This list represents most but not necessarily all of the non-returnable parts. See management for assistance

Core Returns

All Core returns need to be for the exact part purchased, in original packaging and in fully rebuildable, undamaged, condition Credit WILL NOT be applied until the part is received. Fluids must always be drained. Please refer to our Core Charge Policy for more information.

 

Warranty Returns

The warranty period is 45 days from your date of purchase or any longer warranty period that may be printed on your original sales receipt. Please refer to our Limited Warranty Policy for specific details.

 

NextGen Automotive Service & Repair Core Charges

What is a Core Charge?

A "Core Charge" is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda. In many states, to promote recycling, you are charged a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and you receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a Core Charge, or Core Price, that works the same way as a soda can deposit.

Here's how the Core Charge works:

  • The part you are purchasing contains a component that is recyclable

  • The Core Charge deposit is charged at the time of purchase

  • When the recyclable component from your old part is returned to us, the charge is refunded to you

 

NextGen Automotive Service & Repair will only charge the customer the Core Charge if the customer decides to keep the original parts that a Core Charge was charged to NextGen Automotive Service & Repair. A Core Charge WILL NOT be added to any customer bill where NextGen Automotive Service & Repair maintained possession of the original part to return as a core to the retailer or manufacture.
